Has Anything Really Changed?

Yes.

Those Moriarity articles in which Bob Moriarity  complained about DLKM are no longer relevant even it they were accurate to some degree.

1.  The CEO and management about which Bob Moriarity complained have been replaced.

2.  Fililngs to the SEC are being timely made in accordance with SEC regulations.

3  The properties upon which DLKM is currently drilling are separate and distinct from the property that was the subject of the two Moriarty articles.  Most importantly, DLKM with its extensive, methodical drilling program, under direction of a qualified geologist, is successfully proving up the existence of gold far in excess of the figures offered by Moriarity for the subject property in those articles.

In short, it's a whole new and different ballgame.

Thanks for the response AU, I am still  not convinced that this company has cleaned up their act but, aside from that, IMHO a 210,000,000 share dilution in one year pretty much explains the drop in price. Every time there is a meaningful rise in PPS  it is followed by another share dilution, I think we have a ways to go, I don't see any reason for it not to drop to  ...more

Highwired7: That second article by Moriarity to which you refer was published over a year ago, September 8, 2010. Management Changes: 8k filed June 24, 2011: "Effective June 21, 2011, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Douglas Lake Minerals Inc. (the "Company") accepted the resignation of Harpreet S. Sangha as President, Chief Executive Officer and as a Director ...more

Thanks AU, I was having trouble finding all of the 8-K's refering to management changes. So, W. Zhang and J. Rugumyanteto are gone, right? R. Mengi, D. Boateng and R. Sheepers are still there, which is your your contention;  were they "born again" or did they not know what was going on? What do you mean by, "all of the board ...more

Highwired 7: If one goes back as far as November 4, 2009, it can be seen that W. Zhang and J. Ruguymynteto were directors of DLKM along with Harp Sangha. From the November 5, 2009 filing: '[T]he Board of Directors and Executive Officers are now comprised of the following:" https://www.vantagewire.com/company?symbol=DLKM [Filings] You will note that all four directors the above ...more

AU Thanks again for your efforts. Call me cynical but, whether the property is valuable or not, this company looks like a game of shells to me...I guess that is another reason the share price has dropped so low. See you at a nickle.

The property is good. The geology and geologist are impressive. The share structure of DLKM. OB is in horrendous condition due in large part to the past fund-raising actions of Harp. The 200mm shares to Mengi are not the problem- that was payment for THE property - the only property. And it's not the shares we suckers bought on the open market over the past few  years. Good ...more

IMO nothing has changed... - company still suffers from a lack of visible management- Last CEO seems to have ousted for some reason?? hmm...- flitters back and forth from being SEC compliant - someone here said there is more gold than ever before?? what?? we haven't seven seen significant drill results...Disclosure - i bought this POS long ago on hoped mgt. could pull something ...more

At least the geology and field work seems pretty well managed.

"seems" is the key word there, i think the only way we can make a determination on that will be via results.. understanding they may not hit early in the process, would be nice to see if there is a budget for a 2nd attempt.. has anyone seen a budget for funds raised?
