RE: From the Kinross 2nd Qtr ReportThis information confirms that the Ecuadorian government is tracking on schedule with it's publicly stated timeline. Namely, exploitation agreements to be in place by the end of 2010. For some reason, many on this board believe an agreement is closer at hand because DMM has an operating plant, is actively mining, or is special in some other way. I hope you are right, but my sense is that this process will crawl along at a typical SA pace, and that if anything, a deal will get inked later and not sooner. I hope I am wrong.
