Ya it is an interesting situation down there. I still wonder what this Kinross development will do to the EcuaCorriente negotiations. If anything. Or if EcuaCorriente will join Kinross in asking for better terms. The Chinese being patient they would seem to have little to lose in dragging the negotiations out a bit longer if it meant a better deal in the long run. Maybe, if the Chinese are content with the terms Ecuador has forced on them, they make Kinross an offer they don't refuse for Fruta.

Like I said earlier I think the potential miners are in a better bargaining position than Ecuador is at the moment.

Dmm has done a great job building a mine against large odds. And doing it so economically. What I think they suck at is communicating with their retail shareholders. I"m sure Sprott knows exactly what's going on down there but the rest of us are S.O.L. While this a fairly normal situation for most micro miner/explorers Dmm is past that point now IMO and should be communicating regularly with it's retail shareholders.

Anyhow, not worried about Dmm getting it's contract. It will get it eventually. I just hope they don't end up being the only miner in Ecuador and have a shareprice that reflects that.

Not much more to say. Have to wait to see what happens.
