RE: RE: RE: What could kinross pay for dmms

Was not thinking location. Was thinking that although 100 million isn't much in the big picture, can K afford it? They're already up to their butts in financial alligators and K shareholders aren't too happy about the last buying spree.  Another 100 million spent in Ecuador might be seen as another 100 million down the toilet.

Not sure if it would make sense for Dmm to sell Jerusalem if K gets it's deal anyway. Dmm doesn't need the money and Jersalem gives it more future. IMO it's not really in Dmm's best interest to sell it.

The whole show maybe but not a piece.

If we're going to speculate it would make some sense for K to take out Dmm once the amendment passes. It would give K a nice cashflow to spend on Fruta plus  fly under the windfall tax radar giving it some tax balance in the future.

K could get it cheap too. Even at $20/share the cost for Dmm would be sub $1 billion. A bargain for a low cost multi-millioin ounce gold/silver producer.

Does K have a billion tho? Or do we want diluted K stock instead?

I think if it all works out down there Dmm will look pretty good as a take out target for anyone wanting to get a foot in the Ecuador [pun intended] but that's a way's off yet.

Another reason I'm hoping K gets it's deal is I've still got some almost worthless warrants from the Aurelian sale and it would be nice to finally unload them for a semi-decent price.

Still IMO not much point in speculating until we know if K and Ecuador have a deal or not. My money's on the deal happening as they both have too much to lose but it ain't over til it's over.

May's going to be an interesting month.
