a 60 day “go shop” period (with highlights of all posts)

a 60 day “go shop” period (with highlights of all posts)

"Under the Arrangement Agreement, Core Gold is permitted a 60 day “go shop” period during which it may solicit superior proposals."
        (In the recent announcement)

It is now on us - we stockholders - to insist with the Board of Directors that it seek and accept a legitimate, superior proposal.  This has already been expressed by RONNIE111  "Folks are putting there hopes now that a better offer will surface. And that is my hope as well."

I agree with merlin991 "VOTE VOTE and VOTE again. Let's ride these rats out of town."

Edx is thinking smart:  "The debt facility the company has previously announced is seemingly un-used... I'm assuming they signed some kind of binding agreement before they put that into an NR. So I'm left to sit here and wonder why that isn't the most obvious way forward rather than this deal."  Edx, Yes!  However, I believe the company has now been forced into a position where it must be acquired within 60 days by another entity.  Our only choice now as stockholders is to make with unmistakeable clarity to the Board of Directors that this acquisition must be by a superior company, not by Titan.

Tad brought us tremendous insight into the ties between companies that underlies this ripoff merger, in his February 28, 2019 - 01:25 AM posting.  and Tad said "I have LOST ALL CONFIDENCE in the current composition of the board of directors due to the fact that they even considered accepting this "deal"  to present to the shareholders."  I only add. there is no reason for us to speak respectfully to this current Board.  They have come to steal our investment, to steal the lunch off our tables and to rape our women.  Let's treat them like home invaders in the middle of the night.

edx, posting on February 27, 2019 - 11:47 PM mentions "Bob Washer, 12 million shares. The current board kicked him out... can't imagine he's wanting to do these guys any favors."  Bob Washer built this company, and he kept it debt-free for many years and got a mill built in Ecuador "like mining on the Moon".  Bob Washer does deserve respect, and let's vindicate his shabby treatment by the current Board.

whiteirish, wrote "Titan's plant depends on high grade ore - 17 to 24 g/t for bragging rights.  Nobody runs high grade ore like that, all the time, for it's existance.   You've got to find it first.  Hell, 5 g/t is high grade in the real world."

87fistc wrote "The TV show gold Rush produces more gold than Titan can it's a Joke."  I love the show, and I thank 87fistc for that perspective and a little humor!

Goldred wrote "Keith's Work All he did to gain local and national support for Core's projects in Eucador and major steps forward in cleaning up the balance sheet"   It seems all we can conclude is the good CEO was overwhelmed by a scheming Board.  Can anyone offer another interpretation?

87fistc also wrote on February 26, 2019 suggesting locals and local government can stop this deal "We all know that if you don't have the locals on your side any project is doomed."

Goldcross on February 26, 2019 - 07:12 PM gets specific and thinks of a particular firm to get a better offer from "Lundin Gold would be > a fool and stupid > if they do not put a much better fiat$$deal on the table"

ghzyszn said "no chance we have enough shares combined."

highper was the second shareholder showing more awareness of Ecuador than the Board of Directors show,  suggesting "one of the majors that is circling on on the ecudorian landscape."

Thanks to Baily3 who put it succinctly: "Sure looks like a hostile takeover by Coregold’s own BOD."  Perfect process description, Baily3 !

Lofthouse boils it down: "Titan Minerals offers nothing...really nothing...a company with zero value."

Core shareholders show great passion and understanding.  Though this crisis is maddening, it has been exhilarating to meet my fellow shareholders.  So people, let's get together and let's stop this.  We have to force the Board of Directors to search for, find, and accept a superior offer.  They have to be forced to do so.  I am grateful for all you fellow shareholders for being smart people and now let's do what we have to do.
