And the rogue poster (and I guess it isn't important if it was one or more than one), certainly did follow some of the 'Rules' of a succesful basher.
But I am not quite sure what the intent of our 'basher' was. His main bashing seemed to be of Mr. Piggott. And of some of us long time posters. And trying to build up Titan, but not taking down Core.
I don't think our 'basher' had any impact whatsoever on Core share price , up or down, for a couple reasons: the first would be that nobody trusts anything that is said on these kinds of boards anymore without it being backed up by irrefutable evidence; and secondly, I don't think there are any 'new investors' buying into Core at this time, of the type described in your article: innocent, naive etc. , that would be influenced by the rather crazy postings our poster did; you know, if by some fluke one of them found there way to Core. Anyone not knowing all about Core, that took a surface look, would run away as fast as possible. So I would say that the 'trade' ,such as it is , would be : people very knowledgeable, insiders , and us longtimers (which reminds me , gotta pick up another 40,000 shares on monday, the credit card can wait: 25 cents to 50 cents at the very, very min seems a no brainer). And if Vertex, and perhaps Washer, are cashing in shares now, that would explain why we aren't getting the rise we should be. And if our poster talked one person into giving one Core share for 2.5 Titan shares, then I would like to meet that person cause I have some great swamp land I would sell them.
Now, that all said, I do think that forums like this can have a big impact on controlling the story.
It was interesting that in the articles list of rules it said to be 10% fact and 90% suggestion (BS?). Well, I think that when 'we' totally got control of the merger story it was because I like to think I was 90% fact and only 10% made up, and you Tad were 100% fact. So our successful bashing of Titan was done by just telling the truth about them. So maybe that's not bashing.
My guess is that the poster is just someone who was very invested in the merger, and got his feelings quite hurt. And he blamed Mr. Piggott, and us posters, quite accurately. So he was just venting. Pretty childish really.
