The story has started to spread in the mediashttps://www.mining-journal.com/gold-and-silver-news/news/1377958/core-responds-about-chinese-bid
(...)A source close to the deal, who spoke to Mining Journal on condition of anonymity, said the offer agreement sent to Core on November 25 was a full agreement and not a draft and that the worsening of certain deal terms was due to the procrastination of Core CEO Mark Baily in engaging with the Chinese company, and the lack of trust the Chinese had in the Core board. This latter point is evidenced by two directors agreeing to lock up their shares to the Titan offer after the company received its full offer despite the company officially recommending in news releases that shareholders take no action on the improved Titan offer.(...)

Mining Journal's repeated attempts to Contact Core executives via telephone and email for comment have been unsuccessful.
