RE:QuestionsRJM - I also live in the US and have the EXACT questions. I also would take 55 cents Canadian converted to US cash in a heartbeat, but I also don't think that would happen. In my heart, I know that the 18 cent Canadian market price is a SCAM, and as soon as the merger goes through Titan stock will crater. 
If you find out more info, please let me know, but as it stands now, I am NOT converting to Titan stock, and am willing to take my chances. Maybe right, maybe wrong, but my heart says, "don't tender".
