Core Gold’s Locations - 2b) Dynasty - Geology and Drilling

Within this post, three sets of images connect Dynasty with its concessions, with a geological plan, and with a drilling map.

In the first set below, as noted previously the outer, light-yellow rectangle encloses the area of the irregular Dynasty concessions. Those concessions are detailed on the right in red text, as Zar 1, Zar, and Pilo 9. (On the RHS, the thickly outlined yellow box can be ignored (chart drawn from another report). The Dynasty Goldfields lie across two counties - i) Celica county within Celica canton, and ii) Guachanama county within Paltas canton.

Below, a geological plan is shown on the right. Dynasty concessions lie within the Celica formation, comprising andesitic lavas and pyroclastic strata indicated by the light-tan-coloured region. Intruding into the Celica formation, the Cretaceous-age Tangula granodiorite batholith is indicated by the bright purple areas.

Project areas are laid below against a matching drill map. The inner, orangey rectangle on the left corresponds to the extent of the drill map on the right. That drilling preceded some of the current exploration at Dynasty, but is indicative of exploration zones. The drilling and sampling areas denoted thematically on the right are matched with the coloured circles for Esperanza, Iguana, Trapicillo and Payapal. Those circles are located at average locations of the actual drill holes.

Only the area surrounding the Celica mine, located at Cerro Verde including the Esperanza pit on the LHS, has been developed so far, notwithstanding high-grade showings along strike. Development at Payapal could possibly proceed soon, which in turn could unlock a substantial increase in production in a particularly high-grade area.

Thankyou , standfir, for all that incrediible information.  I have never seen it all layed out like that before. The potential is truly staggering.  Large gold companies need to spread themselves over continents, or even around the world, to get the number of mines that Core could have in a couple counties in Ecuador.   It seems like just when Dynasty started to seriously ...more

Standfir thanks for putting all that together. Just shows what a great set of properties put together in his time at the helm by Rob Washer. Six million oz of gold is the base and likely a lot lot more. Also shows the great disservice that the BOD4 and CFO put both Core and it's long term shareholders through.  Bottom line is that we are mostly past that recent despicable chapter and a ...more
