I joined the meeting yesterday! Mr Goodman started with how the company did great in the past as Dundee  made money on  Kinross and Dynamic Funds .To me that was past and what about the persent ?

He mentioned UHIC is a bad investment . There is not much Dundee can do with that. Parq hotel has so much debts and the amount hotel makes all going to paying debts. 

On bright side , he talked about Reuion and Magna  .He feels that the company is in right track.

Back in April 2013 (ten years ago) the shares were trading at $23.00+ Today, oh well, under $1.20 - a drop of over 94% in ten years! Mr Goodman - with all due respect - what have you done for us, minority shareholders - lately?

Pierre,  I talked to board of directors after meeting. They believe in Mr Goodman. They think he is right man for directing the company. I honestly think that we  will never reach to $23.  We need to see that Dundee as a new company with IPO on TSX.  As  I mentioned in my post. We need to forget about UHIC and Parq. They are not in the picture anymore. I think  we

I think of Dundee as Jr Mining exposure with great odds.  On top of that there is the TauRx real option.  If TauRx gets approval Dundee wins lotto.  Exciting times!

TheCount11, I am not sure how much upside we will see with DC.A from this level. you could have done better by picking up better stocks with dividend. Good luck !

Dundee owns 3.2% of TauRx Pharmaceuticals Ltd.  TauRx is a non core investment.  The catalyst is new drug listing after which Tau goes public and Dundee has exit liquidity.  There is a ton of upside. I love being able to add to my position at a discount to book.  I don't see much downside business risk. Assets are funded through Debt and Equity.

Can't really argue with this.  Returns for minority DC.A shareholders who are not getting salaries, options or director fees have been dismal over the past decade. That said I do think Jonathan has made smart decisions since taking over BUT the proof will be in the pudding.... DC.A shareholders need to see positive/sustainable returns.

Catscratch , you showed us in the past how many shares Dundee bought in the open market and cancelled them. As you know in the begining of this year Dundee is supposed to buy back over 7 millions shares. Do you have any news on that please? Do you know  how many shares have been bought so far? So far this year Dundee has bought back 377,900 preferred shares (dc.pr.d) for about $7.5M. I'd like to see company buy back some common stock as well or see insiders buying more common stock (there has been a bit of recent insider buying from Andrew Molson).
