RE:Market Makers Implementing Their Own Trading Halt

RE:Market Makers Implementing Their Own Trading HaltAlgernon,

don't you think that after what the company has done that they should not provide retail shareholders some sort of concession as to their fault? And what about those people who manipulate the share value down anyways?

People will complain when management is providing a support as they will complain with management selling shares and not. So which way is it? I as a shareholder would prefer that a company imposes its own trading halt as you call it than not--especially when they screwed up.

That being said, there is something very striking that has stayed on my mind since i was invested in eguana tech. The previous CEO said to me that if management is selling shares and they are doing so at the profits that shareholders should also sell when they take profit that it is not our fault they don't nor is it their fault for having to dilute to keep the business going.

Bottom line is that i look for some sembalence of ethics with companies but clearly if they are going to embellish things and do what this company has done historically and even if they didn't and have been getting manipulated down it is up to each of us to protect ourselves and if we get hit hard we will inevitably have to accept it and just try to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off. Am i saying that this gives companies the right to act unethically and violate exchange and regulators expectations absolutely not but we know this happens day in and day out when gambling on stocks.

In any case, i remain cautiously optimistic here and will give this company this year to start turning things around as well as doing things properly--I would rather the company be honest don't take any short cuts than over embellish as was clearly done here--even if they are in tough times--better to do that it is all about credibility but given i have seen what i have i just have to be more on the ball in following those things that i have in place to avoid getting hit bad and stick to it otherwise i will bleed bad.
