Sell everything.......and just buy this one stock

The global economy is in a dark place for many businesses. We have the Russians at war and tensions with China are at an all time high. Interest rates are the highest that they have been in years. Inflation has not gone down even with the governments trying everything in their power to lower it. Many company earnings are coming in way below last year. So what should you invest in. The banking sector does not look as strong as it has in the past. Oil cannot stay up even with OPEC trying to cut back. Gas is low because global warming is giving the world warmer winters. A looming recession is putting fear in the base metal markets and the price of gold cannot stay much abouve $2,000 per ounce. Pot stocks have gone in the dumpster and bitcoin stocks have started to show the same fate. Technology stocks, have been big winners in the past and they cannot get much of a bid anymore. Even Utilities will not stay at these levels if interest rates don`t head lower.
So SELL EVERYTHING AND BUY JUST THIS ONE STOCK. CloudMD!!! As every piece of the economy gets worse and worse more people will be looking for mental help to cope with the stress. Companies all over will need to look after their emplyees like never before. North America does not have enough doctors and nurses to look after  a growing population. CloudMD has all the answers and it`s still  very cheap. In the last month the company has signed some major deals and the stock price has yet to reflect it in the price. To give you an example as to how cheap the price is, compare it to WELL. A company that is being well promoted. CloudMD has more than half the cash that WELL has and about one fifth the revenue (before these big new deals kick in for CloudMD) yet the market cap for WELL is about 25 times greater. Even better is that CloudMD has provided guidance and said that they will be profitable in the 3rd quarter. WELL still needs adjustments to the income before they even show a profit. I`m not trying to say that WELL is overvalued, i`m just trying to show you the potential for DOC. As I have mentioned in some of my past posts, Karen talked about scaling, we are starting to see that with some monster announcements. She talked about the potential pipeline of deals coming. We now see what she was talking about. with the number of times she mentioned pipeline I`m sure many more deals will be announced. If you sell everything and just buy DOC and it goes up as much as I think it will, KABOOM BABY...you will make a lot of money this year.

Thank you, Dartmam. You are right that world is indeed in a major state of flux and turbulence. I remain optimistic in general about healthcare industry and efficiencies to be unlocked through backoffice AI enabled automations. Also organizations are focusing more on Employee Wellness with one key difference that I have seen: much like Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer, the ...more

Hmmm.....which sounds more sane and rational: Honest's post or Dartmam's post? Allow me a second to think about this...Honest's post. DOC's balance Sheet looks good, but it should since Karen sold off a number of assets (including some software DOC is now leasing back as it's needed for their own services suite). Now it's about profitability and cash flow. DOC can ...more

For someone who has ZERO shares in DOC,, you seem really interested in this company.
Comment by AlwaysLong683 on May 15, 2023 12:13am
Yes, and owning zero shares in DOC has served me well over the past year.

"...engage institutional investors through more effective communication and that includes shareholder communications as well."   Honest, most large institutional investors aren't interested in penny stocks. Most won't even look at a stock trading at under $1.00, regardless of sector. DOC closed Friday at $0.195.   If I recall correctly, around 80% - 90% of DOC ...more

Correction to a previous post: One idea that may bring more institutional attention to DOC is a 1:20 share consolidation. Boosting the share price to $2.00 this way may inflict some short term headwinds for the share price, but at least it would likely meet the minimum share price criterion most large investors use in their stock screens. Should have read "...a 1:10 share consolidation ...more

Thank you, Alwayslong. I must admit that I am not that well versed on what attracts large institutional investors. In fact, I wanted to post the question to this forum. I thank you for answeting the question for me. I appreciate your thoughts.

Honest, the only online site I know of that offers free information on the ownership compositon of a stock is Simply Wall St which provides company profiles on Canadian and US stocks including % ownership breakdowns as well as the largest single ownership entities (among other info.). If you wish, you can set up a "free" level account which allows you to view up to 5 company ...more

One other thing I will note Honest. I don't use most of the info presented in the company profiles at Simply Wall St. as I personally find a lot of their own research and valuation methods suspect, but I do like to use the "Management" and "Ownership " sections to get an idea as to who owns what in terms of company shares.

Mr AlwaysLong. If you keep putting up misleading information we may have to start calling you AlwaysWrong. Firstly , your volume numbers are wrong. DOC`s average daily volume is about 350,000 shares per day, not 130,000. I admit that is not great but you are only showing the volume on one exchange. There are 8 recognized exchanges in Canada and most brokers do not trade on the TSXV anymore. Its ...more

Dartmam,    Yes, I used the TSX Venture exchange volume.   Two questions:   1) Please list the other 7 of the "8 recognized exchanges in Canada" that you claim DOC is or can be traded on.    2) What is the online source of your 350K average daily trade volume number claim? Mine is TMX Money.   The only other ...more
