miners hitching the wagon to cryptocurrencies is hazardous !Bitcoin is down 17.4%. A fool and his money are soon parted. We shorted some Bitcoin at $17,400 but closed the crypto account and withdrew the money. Even if you short Bitcoin on the crypto currency exchange you can still lose your money if ther exchange gets vaporized. Counter party risk is HUGE. Bitcoin is a fraud and we have no regrets having said that. Fiat currencies are still better, at least there are some assets behind the paper (land, army, gold, taxation revenue streams etc.)
