RE:RE:CEO gone Perhaps to add a little bit more fact-based descriptions:
Mr. Proctor served as CEO of Martello for approximately six years, taking the Company public on the TSX Venture Exchange - and subsequently its share price into the abyss - , completing three acquisitions, - at least some of them unsuccessful - , and guiding Martello's strategic focus on digital experience monitoring solutions for the Microsoft modern workplace and Mitel unified communications - growing those revenues to a level that was generally lower than the rate of decline of legacy revenues.
Terence Matthews mentioned that the company is "facing an exciting but challenging market environment, where innovation, agility, and customer focus remain essential." Is it unfair to interpret this as the market environment has been a challenge because the company had struggled or is still struggling with innovation, agility and customer focus? I would say not, considering that the remote working environment became so much more extensive during covid and post-covid so it should be easier to sell into. Then again, if the product is hard to sell, they chose the wrong one to develop.
Such a simple subject of the news release, yet revealing so many concerns. Can they get it right or better going forward? To be convinced but it is going to be hard to turn a fresh page from such a deep hole.
GLTUA, we'll need lots of it I think.
