Tax implications of holding DASEKE shares within CDN acct's

If I opt for the share consideration, does anyone know if there are tax issues I need to deal with if they are held in my Non-Registered TD or CIBC Canadian investment accounts? Am trying to decide if it's better to sell my AVE shares now OR take the DSKE shares. Any thoughts on this is greatly apprciated.

Mine are in a TFSA but here is something I found online that may be helpful. Appears that it may be deemed a taxible event unless it fits into one of CRA's exceptions, specifically Subsection 85.1(5) https://taxca.com/blog-2016-14/
