If you check the board and sp on Polymet you can see that the first permits for mining precious metals in this area are about to be issued to Polymet. They are holding many meetings (check the links provided on that board) and the concensious is in support, as the jobs in the area are badly needed and environmental issues can be neutralized using current technologies.

Once these are issued DM will spike as it has a huge amount of resources in the same region as stated in an earier post (anyone knows how it compares to Polymet's?).
