Another example is the 50,000 preorders for the Tofino. This car is still in the concept stage. How can any realistic investor take these preorders seriously? They’re based on drawings! If this car got to the prototype stage and the Solo preorders didn’t decline by about 100,000 maybe they’d have some credibility but EMV has not earned that.
The E-Roadster has a prototype. Why aren’t there mass preorders for this vehicle?
Solo is more of a gamble than an investment at this point.
