Maybe I am misinformed, but as I understand, Kinder Mrogan  has plans to twin the Trans Mountain pipeline from Edmonton to Vancouver -  if so this makes the Gateway pipeline  perhaps not needed for a long time.

After all, twinning an existing pipeline should be easier to get approved, and quicker to build.

This could be good news if I am correct.
