Anywho, these folks were Doughty Hanson fund holders invited to a presentation,sponsored shall we say, by Petersen.
The DH fund was winding down and the stock in EGT held by the fund could have been liquidated or distributed in kind based on DH units held.
Justin's job was to get these folks to take option B, hold their portion of the shares for a defined period.
So Justin made his pitch to get and hold the stock so there would not be a big move on liquidating the stock. It was not that difficult as the stock was trading at between $.20 and $.26 CDN from a high of around $.60 CDN. Looking real good. NOT !
Not sure what George Powlick as their ilustrious leader had told them but they were none too impressed.
Justin greeted everyone told them good times were just around the corner.
The sun would shine in the skies for a lot longer and would keep everyone warm real warm and much warmer as time went on.
The natives got restless when Justin told them they had little joice based on the valuation of the stock and if they decided to liquidate it would be worth a lot less since he was unable to get anyone to believe anything he said !!!
They would have to put up hime for a lot longer then most had wanted. Yes more than a week.
They were looking for things to throw at him I was told.
Petersen sensing some trouble had the venue set the placeware in wooden and plastic cutlery.
So as wooden knives and forks started to fly Justin could be heard saying that the only lethal thing on the tables were the heavy duty paper clips holding info sheets to the presentation folders at each setting and unless they were or had NINJA training to make lances.............................
