What I like

About the company is that after each earnings release, the company actually gets cheaper. Earnings growth tends to outpace share price growth which leads to a disconnect in share valuation. I find myself frequently adding to my position after earnings announcements.

There are very few like it. I have said before , this ones a "hidden gem". They are ruling a space that the big banks won't touch, leading to a endless runway of growth for them with very little competition. And they are executing flawlessly so far. Will be interesting to see what the release of their anticipated auto loan segment will bring. Perhaps a whole new level of growth ...more

I happened upon this one in 2013.  I was working fraud and the local easyhome store was ripped off huge - it was an identity theft issue.  I spoke to the manager and asked him what his losses were as this was a 20k loss and I was expecting the amount to be huge because of the downtrodden that have to use this type of service.  He assured me that as a whole their losses were kept ...more

What I like....the hidden secret of the Affirm shares. For those who don't know. we have 655,416 shares of Affirm hedged at US$108.87. I will let you do the math here. Then they have another 468,154 unhedged subject to revenue earn out, which will more than likely succeed. I'll let you do the math on that too. Have to admit that my last buy at 117 was totally based on the fact I believed a stock split was imminent.  The share float here is ridiculously low.  Does anyone here think they actually take this company private?  I mean a low float is awesome - tightly held shares drives the price up but this float is so low and they keep buying back shares as well.  Just wondering.......... ...more

Stock splits are unnecessary on a $125 stock. It's a fact small floats go up quicker (and fall quicker) than bloated floats. Even sell offs are more orderly as big holders will think twice before dumping. Now, a crash such as lasty March is different, taht was brokers selling everything at any price to fund margin.
