Shearer reports At the request of market regulation services of the TSX Venture Exchange, Electra Gold Ltd. is providing a corporate update. The Port Hardy chalky geyserite operation has been in continuous production since September, 2003, and continues to ship product to the Ash Grove cement plant in Seattle, Wash., at the rate of approximately 10,000 tonnes per month. A more efficient and safer load-out system is nearing completion at Jensen Cove in Port Hardy which will allow the company to load 12,000 tonnes and larger barges as compared with the current 5,000-tonne barges (see news release in Stockwatch dated March 21, 2007). An update on the company's core drilling program on the wholly owned Lang Bay Kaolin project was also announced in the news release in Stockwatch of March 21, 2007. The work on the market study for Kaolin in the Pacific Northwest is continuing. Discussions are continuing with potential customers regarding the Alberta iron project. Fieldwork is planned for May and June, 2007, in Alberta. The company has recently revamped its website and shareholders are encouraged to visit the site. The company is not aware of any material changes that would account for share volume experienced today. J.T.
