You know what, and I hate to say this, but nothing would surprise me at this point. Knowing 8 cap, they probably thought they could do a below market raise and the sp would hold given how hot the sector is. Would not shock me at all if they are trying to sweeten the deal for themselves.

The price action is telling and you nailed it. They are getting feedback that compared to others, emblem may be over valued at current prices and raising funds has been more difficult than anticipated. I suspect given it could not take advantage of the recent performance of others on the sector, that you will see a sell off in the near future, no idea where bottom is but would not be sorted to see

As far as why it hasn’t officially closed yet, who knows

There was a news release oct 17.And no news release to let people know if deal has closed.Just because it was upsized does not mean deal is done.
