Emblem now has another L on their laundry list of missed opportunities. Check out the writing on the wall. Emblem has:
- A five year supply agreement with Starbuds Canada:
- A three year ($5M/year to start) rec. agreement with Fire & Flower;
- A rec. agreement with the OCS in ON;
- A rec. agreement with the AGLC in AB;
- A med. agreement with Shoppers (pending their approval as an LP);
- A med. JV in Germany (60% ownership); and
- 18 wholly-owned GrowWise cannabis clinics (capable of being applied for as rec. locations).
Just one complete flop after another here. Only a measley market cap of $180M, what a failure. Nothing to see.
Get your Tilray, get your Aurora, get your Canopy, several billion dollars marketcaps all. Much better value there by far.
If you do buy EMC, at least you were warned that they have nothing going for them.
It's not like they are on the verge of locking up some decent supply of cannabis right now with their acquisition of Natura Naturals. Also, there is certainly no chance that once all these distribution agreements are put in place there will be a group of fledgling LPs that are desperate to sell their weed to someone - anyone.
Emblem should have poured all their resources into building out some warehouses, but alas, now they are in this compromising position of having to rely on good brands, solid marketing and getting their products onto the shelves. You were warned.
