Emerita Resources Espaa hosted last week the visit of the delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andaluca in Huelva, Jos Manuel Correa, together with the Territorial Delegate of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Industry, Energy and Mines in Huelva, Luca Nez, and the mayors of Paymogo, Jos Francisco Garca and Antonio Beltrn, of Puebla de Guzmn.

The purpose of the visit was to show the support of the Andalusian Government and local authorities for the project, considered an important opportunity for the economic and social development of the Andvalo region.

During the visit, the Government delegate highlighted Emerita's role as a benchmark for sustainable mining at a national and international level. The company has invested 20 million euros in the execution of the project, with the expectation of creating 360 direct jobs in the operation phase.
Correa reported that the procedure for the granting of the Declaration of Strategic Interest (DIE) is in its final stage, emphasizing that Huelva is a leader in investment linked to industry, energy and mines.
