you, stockhouse (though i'm certain stockhouse employees aren't that daft), your pitiful figures of authority to whom you refer need to learn a little about the term 'defamation of character'. it's so absurd that i should even have to dignify that with a rebuttal but what the heck ...
1. freedom of speech permits me to say whatever i so choose whenever i so choose provided it brings no real harm to another. financial, physical etc and does this bring you any such harm? that's a rhetorical question tasser. you don't need to answer it.
2. the following are some actual quotes from the law regarding this 'violation' you feel victim to.
a)
No actual injury: If there is third-party communication, but the third-party hearing the defamatory statement does not believe the statement, or does not care, then there is no injury, and therefore, no recourse. (now, it has been abundantly clear on this board that pretty much NOBODY here believes me, cares nor has sustained any injury as we can refer to all of their posts).
b)
Opinion is a defense recognized in nearly every jurisdiction. If the allegedly defamatory assertion is an expression of opinion rather than a statement of fact, defamation claims usually cannot be brought because opinions are inherently not falsifiable. i believe it is clear that all of my comments, insults etc are clearly my opinion.
c)
Proof must exist that a loss was sustained.
d) Where a victim is not defined then no claim of slander can be entered. (well for one thing, who is 'tasser', i have no idea? just a nickname on a blog and for another ... well, my shots are at the entire board as well and again that is not a defined group ie: company NAME or personal IDENTIDY to which said victims can be linked, victimized and causes loss).
