In this new report it is claimed that Sintezneftegaz holds lisences in Namibia.
Maybe Nakor and 1711 have been retransferred to Sintezneftegaz. That would mean that Rosneft will be the
new operator in 1711.

Rosneft

New acreage acquired in Barents and Black Sea

Antitrust regulator clears two acquisitions by Rosneft. The Federal

Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has allowed Rosneft (ROSN RX –

Hold) to buy 100% of two companies which own exploration licenses

in the Black and Azov Sea in southern Russia, and the Barents Sea in

the Arctic Ocean. Chernomorneftegaz, controlled by NLMK owner

Vladimir Lisin, holds licenses for four blocks in the Black and Azov Sea,

with prospective oil & gas resources of 1.4-2.8 bln boe.

Sintezneftegaz, controlled by Senator Leonid Lebedev, has licenses for

two blocks in the Barents Sea, with estimated resources of up to 7 bln

boe. It also has offshore licenses in Namibia, where it started drilling in
2008.
