Nakate,,, yes it is pretty slow on the debentures.

When you think about it though there is really not much reason for someone to sell them under par regardless of how the Orbite shareprice is doing.

They still pay 8% at par with the principle supposedly guaranteed by the segregated tax credits and there is the possibility of converting them at $3.50 if the shareprice ever gets back up beyond there.

Even totally disregarding the convertable option as being highly unlikely they are still a pretty good bet.

I picked up some yesterday for $88. That is a 9% interest equivalent.  I just got a few to sort of balance things out a bit.

The downside is that it is possible that the company at some point defaults on the interest payment but supposedly the principle is safe so I am ok with testing the waters on them.
