Outotec not chosen,,, yet?

Outotec not chosen,,, yet?

So,,, I was under the impression that Outotec were going full steam ahead with the calcinator but as it turns out they are not because Ort have not decided which way to go regarding the calcinator induced impurities.

I am not too disappointed to hear this because I was nervous about the suddenness of the decision to convert a 10 tonne per day calcinator down to a 5 tonne per day unit.

It was decided too fast and seemed knee-jerk to me at the time and I was worried that it was a desperation move.

Even though this will delay the delivery of whatever calcinator Ort eventually buy I am glad to see that management have applied the brakes and are going to research this further .

I am making the bold assumption that it was a typical RB decision/reaction to jump to Outotec and a Kelly decision to say "Whoa,,, let's just hold on a second here".

Please Ort,,, don't buy the wrong calcinator!
