On behalf of the younger crowd that is just now experiencing their first real estate cycle, thanks for your comparison and analysis! These are the kinds of observations I've been looking for and are so hard to find. I want to believe that the recovery will pick up sooner but I'm trying to remember thats probably my impatient youth getting the best of me. Regardless, the early concensus seems to be that 2012 will be the awkward, not-quite-there year. I bought now because I'd rather be a bit early than miss the boat...been there once already. Either way, I'm being patient with Eacom as well, they have the assets needed to prosper in a hot lumber market...just need to keep their head above water until it comes.

I work in the lumber production business in BC and FYI we're moving lumber out of the yard as fast as we can make it. I even had to work graveyard shifts last week to keep up :s
