What Are Molecular Biology Products?
"Molecular Biology Products has been in business since 1986. It was just a small home based company without much overhead to speak of when we first started. Our primary business focus was on medical laboratories and we quickly discovered that this was a great way to make a living from a hobby that we love. We are still very involved in the Medical field and do many consulting positions with various companies and medical institutions. We have developed many tools that have saved many lives. In fact, one of our most popular products is the DNA Extraction Kit, which is used for analyzing DNA samples from tissue samples such as blood, saliva, or urine.
In addition to the DNA Extraction Kit, we have a very large variety of molecular biology products including the DNA gel electrophoresis machine and a DNA Sequencing Kit. DNA gel electrophoresis machines are designed for use in research laboratories to determine the sequence of DNA molecules in the sample tissue and will identify any modifications that have occurred since the sample was taken. A DNA Sequencing Kit is designed for use in the laboratory to generate a unique DNA strand by using DNA templates provided by the customer and will enable the customer to select from a variety of DNA designs that are then run through the DNA Sequencing Kit in the laboratory to generate a one of a kind DNA strand. Because the DNA strands can be generated automatically by the DNA Sequencing Kit and can be changed whenever desired, it has proved indispensable in a number of medical and legal situations where it is impossible to keep older samples, proving invaluable in legal proceedings.
Another popular product in the line of molecular biology products is the PCR system which will enable any single DNA molecule to reproduce themselves and is used in all kinds of DNA applications. It stands for "polymerase chain reaction" and was invented by the scientist Richard Koche in the 1970s. The PCR system not only permits the repeated generation of DNA strands, but also greatly speeds the sequencing of DNA molecules. This has made it extremely important in the field of genetic engineering as it allows the precise modification of DNA to introduce desired characteristics.
