I don't think he's ever been "right" even once. Either he is right or the trade history of EXS is wrong. I think GWT's posts are at best consistently wrong and generally lengthy and not on point. At worst...well, you know, some might feel that he is a charlatan closely related to/from within EXS.
Anyways, like you said, I agree that every investor should do his own research and ignore people like GWT and yourself. So you are "right" in this regard. Listen to the words of CD himself and you'll be a happy ghost in 150 years.
