Here let's assume the senerio below:
1) conventional diesel truck costs 100k
2) ford lighting costs 100 k
battery warranty 8 yrs on lighting
1000.00 per month or more = 12 k yr x 8 yrs
= 96,000 in fuel consumption vs a lighting that may take 100.00 per month if not less = 1200 per year x 8 yrs. Which driver is further ahead over a 8 yr time frame? The difference your saving in fuel is significant. I also believe with technology will just continue to drive this arena.
