Pursuing International expansion

Fantasy Aces Daily Fantasy Sports Corp. Partners With Cameron Thomson for Business Development

ALISO VIEJO, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwired - April 5, 2016) - Fantasy Aces Daily Fantasy Sports Corp. (the "Corporation" or "Fantasy Aces") (TSX VENTURE:FAS)(OTC PINK:FASDF) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Cameron Thomson Group ("CTG"), a pre-eminent provider in the media and gaming industry, with experience in sports betting, gaming interactive applications, and gaming technology to assisting Fantasy Aces in reaching corporate objectives related to strategic positioning and global expansion.

For over 25 years, Cameron Thomson Group has been immersed within the Media / Entertainment / Gaming and Technology sectors. Cameron Thomson's management team are experienced gaming & technology industry veterans who provide critical insight into direction and tactics. CTG activities will include supporting the packaging of the Fantasy Aces opportunity at a high level, identifying, qualifying and pursuing appropriate strategic partners and growth opportunities, as well as guiding Fantasy Aces towards negotiating and structuring transactions to support the growth of the corporation.

"We are very excited to have the opportunity to engage with Cameron Thomson to lead our entrance and development in markets outside of North America," said Tom Frisina, CEO of Fantasy Aces. "We believe this relationship with CTG will introduce business opportunities and potential business partners with a significant attached data base on qualified players who are interested in the exciting DFS marketplace directly through Fantasy Aces. "

"Fantasy Aces rose rapidly into the top 5 of DFS sites in 2015, and are now very well positioned for significant growth in the future. We believe Fantasy Aces is massively under-valued in today's sports play market, with a loyal and expanding audience in the US approaching 35,000 users and with a pending attachment of internationally interested new users, will grow shareholder value appreciably in the future." commented Ronald Thomson, President of Cameron Thomson.

I don't think markets realize what they are trying to do. With all the uncertainty with getting daily fantasy approved in the states they said ok, lets continue to try and doing it in the states but try to hit the overseas market.  By doing global expansion now it will create a footprint for growth before other companies in the space. The next few years should see rapid growth, if the ...more

This is a necessary step and should help the company.  but they are by no means ahead of the curve on this. Many DFS operators have been marketing overseas for a while. Most importantly they offer soccer as a main revenue source that then introduces them to NFL etc.   FAS doesn't even offer soccer yet.

That's actually a good thing because there are untapped markets for them - especially with soccer.  That's my mistake, I didn't know the other N. American operators are already in Europe.  I thought FAS was one of the first of the top 5.
