Media Central to buy Lazarus Bleau
  
Media Central Corp. is planning to acquire Lazarus Bleau Inc., a media and marketing company for $2 million, according to a company press release.
 
The move will add two new publications to Media Central’s umbrella: The Travel Magazine, a North American travel publication distributed through The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and The Wall Street Journal; and On the Go, a lifestyle commuter title distributed across the Greater Toronto Area. 
 
 
Media Central’s current titles include Now Magazine, the Georgia Straight, cannabis-focused Canncentral, and ECentralSports, a site for the gaming industry. 
The company also announced that Larry Bleau, president and publisher of The Travel Magazine, will become the new CEO of Media Central, while Kirk MacDonald, who has been at Media Central for almost three years, becomes president.
