The "communications company" that can't communicate

What's the deal with MediaCentral and the low-rent porn site  www.joee.cc? Joee.cc, which rents digital rooms by the hour to personages such as "Darcy Delights (40DDD)" and "Amber Harlot", where services are advertised as $80/30 mins, $140/hr, with "overnights avail." Joee.cc claim it is "Now part of NOW Magazine." What in the what? Did Manos do some kind of deal with a wanker's portal and not bother to tell his shareholders? Is Manos aware that this is exactly the kind of thing that led to U.S. federal charges being brought against the principals of Voice Media, and resulted in jail time for two alt-weekly publishers? Google "Backpage.com" and weep, Manos. You ain't no Superfly, bro.

Meanwhile, still no press release or acknowledgement that the deal  previously announced to acquire LBI and make Larry Bleau the CEO has gone blooey. Manos, you're supposed to keep shareholders informed about this stuff, or else the regulators might get cross.

And yet, MediaCentral managed to put out a press release to tell the world that the long-suffering NOW staff had to endure yet another management pep talk. Thanks for sharing that information. Man, oh, man, Manos!
