PUSLINCH, ON, Dec. 8, 2008 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --Forterra Environmental Corp. (TSX-V: FTE-V), an emerging leader in theproduction and sale of premium organic soil-enrichment products basedon worm castings, today announced that Toronto Sprouts Corporation hasinformed the company of its intention to purchase one tonne per monthfor the next six months of Forterra's soil enrichment product.

"Once in our new and significantly expanded facility in March2009, we will more than double our capacity, increasing our monthlypurchases to two tonnes per month. As part of our future expansionplans, we will also be requiring worm castings tea and would look toForterra to be our supplier as well," wrote Marie Larsson, Director ofOperations, for Toronto Sprouts. Forterra said that the dollar value ofthe sales will not be material to the company's financial results.

The addition of Forterra's worm castings to the soil at TorontoSprouts farm "was more than a blessing. Our product has improvedimmensely," Ms. Larsson informed Forterra.

"The ratio of worm castings to soil you recommended were put tothe test with satisfying results, with improvement literally overnightwith the application of worm castings. Not only are we well pleased,but our customers are also commenting on the smoother taste of the(wheatgrass) juice," she wrote.
