RE:RE:Price Action This Morning

RE:RE:Price Action This MorningI think everyone is surprised by Canopy's success. Admittedly, I thought they were overvalued at 600 million, but now they're just shy of a billion. Their earnings is next week and comes out a day before us. That could certainly shake up the stock, for better or worse. I'd like to think if shareholder money ever floods out of Canopy on say bad news, the chances are it'll be re-distributed into some of the other players in the sector.

I'm shaking my head on the Mettrum investment as well and I do think it's especially painful if you watch it daily, but I think there are a lot of bright spots on the horizon. A TSX listing would be huge and we should be #2 in terms of reaching that milestone. I do think we're an acquisition target at these levels and I don't predict we'll fully run our course -- there are a lot more eyes on this sector and whether it be a Canadian or American entity, I think someone will take a run at us. Earnings growth, especially towards profitability is probably closer for us than it is for Canopy. To my understanding, only Aphria is profitable right now and we might join them soon.
