RE:Chances I have often wondered the same. First Maj could easily buy all shares of FM with the cash they have on hand, and Keith has always grown his companies via acquisition. Also given Jerritt Canyon, First Maj is already on the path to producing a lot more Gold by 2026/2027. If another company were to try to take over FM at a low-ball price, I think this is where we could see a competing bid coming from First Maj because the assets are too big to sell them cheap. It's also (maybe) one of the better ways FM could finance an eventual mine build, in my view. Always better to keep it in the family, right ;)? GLTA
