RE:RE:RE:just spoke with Billmook806:
I am fine with accepting the reply I received as forthright and an expression of frustration.
Following is from that response.
1.)
We were careful in selecting our auditors, relying on our Canadian counsel and accountants to recommend several firms.
We also reviewed last year's audit with the new firm and they provided assurances that they could complete this year's audit on schedule.
A few days before the filing date they informed us they would not be done in time.
They have since committed additional resources and assured me this morning that they will file on Thursday.
2.
Per a call I had with the auditors this morning they will file on Thursday .
3.
We no longer use Davidson as they did not have the staff to manage our account.
We were referred to DMCL (link) by counsel and engaged them this spring.
We have complied with their every request in a timely manner. I believe the responsibility for the delay is shared by FFT and DMCL.
They did not appreciate the volume of transactions that we completed in fiscal 2017, and we did not press hard enough for more DMCL resources.
Our CFO, Senior Accountant, bookkeeper and outside accountants have been frustrated by the slow response and delays caused by DMCL, but ultimately the responsibility is mine.
