it’s not defamatory, slanderous, or libelous to call someone stupid as there’s no objective measure of stupidity. People can be convicted of murder, but no court can declare someone stupid. There is also a difference between an opinion and a blatant lie.
What you did is blatantly lie about a company by implying that they are infringing on patents, when they are very clearly (from an outside observer) not. The company itself would have even more evidence to prove that statement you made to be a lie, and the damages would be quite clear because there was a sp drop of around 10% directly following your comment. Also, this website has been known to provide the information of posters to law enforcement in the event of a potential lawsuit.
You very clearly know very little about the law and how it works, so I would remind you again not to use defamation to manipulate a stock's price for your benefit. It will not end well for you.
