The triggers of Sheithouse soon to be

The triggers of Sheithouse soon to bea relic of the past... thank God. It's about time! Re-designed Stockhouse launching later this month In any community reputation is the only real currency an individual has. When the new Stockhouse launches later this month, investors who populate the site will see that there is indeed a renewed focus on an individual's reputation. Anyone contributing content to Stockhouse, be it staff editors, professional and semi-professional contributors, and especially the individual investor, will benefit from creating content that enhances their reputation. As mentioned before in this space, the re-designed Stockhouse certainly includes a fresh look and improved navigation. But the biggest improvements are focused on you - and the content you create. The community of investors who gather at Stockhouse will be rating and ranking the content produced on the site - including individual articles, blog entries, and BullBoard posts. The content that you produce - specifically the quality and quantity of that content - will determine your overall reputation score. Thoughtful, useful postings will garner higher reputation scores. Those who choose to waste readers' time with spam, profanity, rants, stock pumping or bashing will likely score much lower - and as a result garner fewer readers. Many Stockhouse members are already producing thoughtful, useful content for their fellow investors. You can do so in a variety of ways. While many of you use the onsite blogs and BullBoards, both of which will be greatly improved in the new Stockhouse, we are also inviting the community to submit articles for consideration by our editorial staff. The new Stockhouse will have a specific zone where the community can read individual articles submitted by other investors. These contributions have already begun. You can spot them tagged with a special icon, entitled "Community News". We have created submission guidelines to help you in creating an article that will gain the attention of the Stockhouse community. Please review these guidelines. Then, when you're ready to give it a shot, you can submit an article for consideration to submissions@stockhouse.com Have fun. Darin Diehl Publisher, Executive Editor StockHouse
