Glencor Xtrata

I wonder how a merger between glencor and Xstrata would affect First Nickel. We have an oftake agreement for Lockerby which is exclusive to Xstrata. If a merger occurs and Glencor shuts down Sudbury operations, where would that leave First Nickel? Any ideas?

No need to speculate because that will never happen, NEVER This merge is actually excellent for FNI, I hope you know what I mean???

RODEBUSTER your post was a lil confusing.....on 1 hand u'r saying that the Glencor merger will NEVER happen and on the other hand you're saying that it's excellent for FNI. Now that it happened, can you explain why u think it's excellent for FNI?

What I was trying to get through was the Sudbury operation will NEVER close, plain and simple
