RE: Financing
RE: FinancingYou hit on a point: the stock might be moved by gold. FDN's so far away from production right now, it's sometimes easy to forget that it's a gold stock.
The drill holes in Coldstream all hit mineralization because the project was already scoped out by Noranda in 1991. There's a historic estimate of 234,000 oz already. What makes Coldstream a winner now is: 1) the resource is likely to have been expanded well beyond the historical estimate; 2) a combination of much higher gold prices and better mining techniques make a property that was shelved in 1991 minable today.
But, the project wasn't blue sky. That's important to remember. The Sanders Zone might be, and the new Mexico property is. The way Coldstream's gone, the company' should have a small mine there in several years.
