there was decent volume in many resource juniors today. i would guess that those who play the canadian markets don't care whether the US markets are open or close. these stocks are on the canadian market, so as long as the exchange is open, they'll play. and that it's not a major holiday where people will go out of town, traders probably traded from home or something.
