RE: thi9s TO - thais

RE: thi9s TO - thais

I am long in ELD and not a long time shareholder of FRP. I accumulated few thousand shares after the April TO proposal was announced and after doing some research on the Combian and Peruvian projects and of course Perama Hill.  Liked the deal and also was motivated by the idea of ultimately getting ELD shares at a discount price. As per the advantages of the combination I think they are all well summarized by Paul's Wright releases.  IMO this deal is not key for ELD and it would not hurt them if it does not succeed.
Personally, I don't see it happen as it seems al lot of FRP shareholders are not willing to tender and think that ELD is not going to up the bid.  Also the Poisson Pill is a stone in the road, as it's in FRP management interests but I doubt it would ultimately favor FRP shareholders.
I for one plan to tender or sell before June 17. Don’t want to influence anybody here.  Mine is just an opinion and perhaps not neutral at all. Just thought somebody could post some comments as board has been more quiet than somebody would have expected. Good luck all.
