FRONTIER PACIFIC ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENT (June 21, 2001)
Frontier Pacific Mining Corporation (“Frontier” or “Company”) announces the appointment of Peter Tegart as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Mr. Tegart is a professional geologist and is the Managing Director of Manhattan Minerals Corporation, a mining exploration company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. This appointment will strengthen the Board of Directors of Frontier as the Company is returning to the resource sector. Frontier recently abandoned its Change of Business plans to convert from a resource-based company to a technology company.
With this change in the Company’s direction, Ramamurthy Akella, David Walters and David Craig have offered to resign from the Board. Frontier expresses its gratitude to Mr. Akella, Mr. Walters and Mr. Craig for their services during the last four months.
Frontier is evaluating several new mineral projects in South America, Mexico and Canada. Frontier will also move forward on its Ding-Ma gold project, Shaanxi Province, China.
Frontier will continue to monitor Otherways Media Inc.’s business operations with a view to recovering its investment.
