Instead of ncib.....

Put forward a small dividend, even a small token would have been better.Companies issue too many shares in the beginning, make several investors multi-millionaires and then have to pay the price forever.Either that have a 4 for 1 reverse split and let the chips fall where they will,though theres nothing wrong with decreasing shares with a buyback.GOODLUCK!!!

Best way to reward shareholders in this order is: First is to remove debt burden on shareholders unless the debt is earning more than what it costs. Second is to borrow more if the borrowed money will earn more than the interest Second is to reinvest profits to generate even greater profits Third is to buy back shares Last is to issue a dividend.

In recent years, the mining sector has seen a significant improvement in margins as higher prices and strong production have propelled cash flow to record levels. However, many producers are making the mistake of trying to attract investors with share buybacks and dividend increases. I would argue that this is not a sustainable trend for the sector. I don't know of any investor who buys a gold ...more
