TBH, those of us on this board wouldn't be hanging on this long if we didn't think the deal would work out. Would've gotten out long ago (k, more like last week when the sp topped out).

ACB would be nuts not to acquire CMED to expand their size, product diversity and capabilities, especially this late in the game with legalization taking place in 2018 and the next closest competitor WEED making the moves they've recently made. Think about it. Canopy has the Constellation deal, partnership with AusCann in Australia, German market access, branding notoriety with Snoop.... list goes on.... what does ACB have relative to this? To be sure they do have a lot going for them (they've got German market access as well), but they are certainly not on level footing with WEED.

There are definite hurdles they need to negotiate (re. HIP, sh*tty offer to CMED shareholders) if they want to make this happen, but enough of us on this board think they will want CMED (and possible HIP) bad enough that they'll come through with something better.
