That's why it's such a massive political issue in Romania right now. The ICSID award is final and binding so Romania may have to take some debt to pay the award.

This project was stopped by the Romanian government years ago.  The Rosia Montana mining area is protected under UNESCO.  Gabriel Resources is engaged in an arbitration process under ICSID ...more
