Question regarding the consolidated statement June 30, 2018.

Are there any significant tax credits available to the company as a going concern  ?

Good question! I remember when Mcewan Mining took over the Black Fox mine, he touted the unused tax credits. That's gold to a company!

Yes. Good as gold in the ground :)   The tax credits, if any, have value when the mine is operational.     The unused tax credits on pg 29 of the AR total over $20M Spitballing the after tax value of Dufferin is $106.2M $89.2M + $20M = $106.2 I am probably wrong. What is a better number if any ?   see below...   --- MD&A pg 5 June 2018 ...more

Can anyone explain this tax credit stuff for me. Not sure what it all means for us or the company

It is best to view the company as a business and determine the per share price when the end. --- Annual Report pg 4 June 2018 Common shares $33.2M Deficit $24.0M Shareholder equity $12.95M --- RCG's current book value is 7.3c/sh $12.95M/$175M = 7.3c/sh   If I understand RCG's accounting correctly the company would reduce the deficit as it applied tax ...more

When I was selling years ago for 20 cents, ( it went up from 5 cents to 20 in 3 months), George told me he believed it was a dollar company. I would take 18.8 cents now. As dumb as I feel for being is to continually, and buying more and convincing a bunch of friends we will be rich, I can see me how angry sprott is at George young for the dividends fiasco and gibson for all his screw ups. A dollar was a reasonable first approximation for Dufferin Arbitrarily using the share count from Dec 2016. Using Pre-tax numbers because of the tax-loss credits. Pre-tax NPV,5% $121.1M/123M shares = 98c Tangier is similar property. So $2 total. De-risk by 50% is $1    ---   I can only guess why share prices traded between 5 to 20c. So looking at price today, are you saying rcg should be worth more? I mean if those tax credits are valuable, I am seriously curious why Anaconda has not come knocking again? I was told they were onsite again a few time last summer which was after their offer in 2017. I want to see what jack can pull off with creditors as I know they are willing to play ball; I have spoken to 2 of them!

There's no saying that Anaconda hasn't called or been in touch. Phones might be ringing all weekend. Jack can't say much one way or the other. A formal bid would come with costs such as legals and break fees. The due diligence would need to happen as the books are opened up. If it starts, the players are serious and have deemed the potential expense as worth it. I don't think ...more

Retail investors need to organize and invite Anaconda to make an offer !!No offer refused its an offer or have RCG force us into bankruptcy and have their 3rd party rob our assets !!!!!
Comment by kenmar on Feb 03, 2019 2:36pm
Anaconda spent 854k on the Maritime bid. Might've been less if they hadn't been difficult.

Mr.Kenmar it can a white knight take over does need to be a black knight.I am sure all retail investors would welcome Anaconda to take our company and manage it in a way that would bring success to our share price.

Lockdown, it is quite possible that sprott lending offer rcg some money to start dufferin back up. It is quite possible that Anaconda buys rcg back up, but at 2 cents (100 %premium), in order for it to to go to 4 cents, Anaconda would have to go up to almost 60 cents( they have never been to 60 cents even after a 5 to 1 consolidation. If they can get some money to get a contractor to drill, and ...more

Lockdown you don't get it! Eric sprott has a share price average of 15 cents. For him to break even when anaconda takes over means anaconda would have to go up to 2.10 cents; not happening! If they offer 5 cents then it would be more appealing. 2nd of all, Anaconda has not made an offer so why do you keep talking about it? Sprott and sprott lending are separate. Dknt forget that eric sprott ...more
